1. Acceptance of Terms

By messaging MyAgroBuddi on WhatsApp (+234 903 190 7032) or using the website myagrobuddi.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

2. About the Service

MyAgroBuddi is an AI-powered farming assistant operated by AOI Labs. The Service provides:

• Farming advice and crop/animal diagnosis via WhatsApp chat.
• Weather forecasts and market price information.
• Farm record keeping and financial tracking tools.
• A Farmer Verification Score (300–850) based on your farming activity.
• Access to loan prequalification and agricultural programme information.

3. Not Professional Advice

Important: MyAgroBuddi provides general AI-generated farming guidance only. It is not a substitute for qualified agronomists, veterinarians, financial advisors, or other licensed professionals. Always verify critical decisions — including pesticide use, medical treatment of animals, and financial commitments — with qualified professionals.

AOI Labs is not liable for any crop loss, financial loss, animal harm, or other damages resulting from reliance on Buddi's advice.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MyAgroBuddi. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement.

5. Your Account and Verification Score

Your Farmer Verification Score is generated based on your activity on the platform — records logged, consistency, and engagement quality. The score is:

• An indication of farming engagement, not a formal credit score under Nigerian financial regulations.
• Used to facilitate connections with partner institutions at your request and with your consent.
• Subject to change as our methodology improves — we will notify you of significant methodology changes.

We do not guarantee that any lender or partner will accept your score or approve any loan or grant application.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information to inflate your Verification Score.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service or our AI systems.
• Harass, impersonate, or harm other users or our team.
• Use the Service for commercial data collection without our written consent.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension of your account without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, AI models, and technology underlying MyAgroBuddi are the property of AOI Labs. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Data you contribute (farm records, photos) remains yours. You grant AOI Labs a non-exclusive licence to use anonymised, aggregated versions of this data to improve the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

MyAgroBuddi relies on third-party services including WhatsApp/Meta, Anthropic AI, and weather data providers. We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, or policy changes from these third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, AOI Labs and its founders, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed ₦10,000 (ten thousand naira).

10. Service Availability

We aim to maintain 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control without prior notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via WhatsApp broadcast and by updating the date above. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
